1. Data controller

The data controller responsible for the processing of personal data on this website is XINON GmbH, Fladnitz im Raabtal 150, A-8322 Studenzen, Austria. Phone: +43 3115 40 800. E-mail: office@xinon.at.

2. Data we process and purposes

We process personal data only where necessary to operate this website and to handle your enquiries:

  • Contact requests. If you contact us by e-mail or phone (for example with a connectivity request), we process the data you provide — name, company, e-mail address, phone number and the content of your request — in order to answer your enquiry and to prepare an offer.
  • Service relationships. For existing customers and partners, we process the data required to provide, operate and bill the contracted services, and to handle support tickets.
  • Server log data. When you visit this website, basic technical data (IP address, browser type, referring page, time of access) are processed for the purpose of secure and stable operation of the site.

3. Retention

Contact requests that do not lead to a contract are stored for a maximum of 6 months and then deleted, unless a legal retention obligation applies. Data from service relationships are kept for the duration of the contract and the statutory retention periods that apply to us as a telecommunications provider.

4. Legal basis

The processing of personal data is based on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / DSGVO) and, where applicable, the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2003 (TKG 2003). In particular: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures and performance of a contract), Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligations) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure operation of our website and services).

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • request access to your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR);
  • request rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR);
  • request erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR);
  • request restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR);
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR);
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR); and
  • file a complaint with the competent data protection authority (in Austria: the Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Wien).

6. Contact
